Debashish Majumdar was born in Shillong. He studied primarily at St. Edmund’s School ( ICSE 1975) & St. Edmund’s College ( Pre- Univ. Science 1976-78). He Post Graduated in Marketing Management from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan and did his PGDM from AIMA, New Delhi. He is a Chartered Marketer from the UK.
He worked with Diners Club International, Karam Chand Thapar (CS) in the liquor div., Konark Television Ltd. & Hindustan Times Ltd. He also served as creative director & senior copywriter for various advertising agencies and his advertising campaigns for Castrol India and NALCO won him national awards.
