The Gift

One morning, when the village postman comes with news of a sick boy, Dr. Edassery sets off from her clinic. She tends to Bullu, whose fever had worsened because of inadequate care. Her prompt response and relentless expertise helps provide equitable care to the young boy.

This story is adapted from the life of Dr. Aquinas Edassery. She spent her retirement dedicating her life to servicing the needs of people living in remote villages without healthcare provisions.
