Percy Jackson And The Battle of The Labyrinth by Rick Riordan is the fourth installment in the series centered around the demigod, Percy Jackson. The story starts with 14 year old Percy is who is ready to start a fresh year of school. After getting ambushed by demon cheerleaders at his new school, Percy comes back to Camp Half-Blood only to learn about the mysterious Labyrinth.

The maze was crafted by Daedalus and as per Greek mythology, is some part of King Minos' castle in Crete. Curiosity gets the best of Annabeth as Percy uncovers her plan to lead a quest through the passages of the Labyrinth. Percy also discovers that Luke is on his only to destroy the heart of the camp. With Annabeth, Percy plans to stop Luke and his armed forces and find Daedalus.

The companions battle monsters, solve riddles, free prisoners and encounter many challenges on their journey. Later on in their expedition, Percy finds himself on an isolated island. It is here he has a monumental decision to make. Will he contemplate personal gain or complete his journey to save the world?
