Three book-related things that lit up my childhood - Enid Blyton, who knew exactly what made a cracking children's story; Amar Chitra Katha, which made me fall in love with our own stories; and Target magazine, which made me see, in the most emphatic, visceral way, that being Indian was something to love, cherish and celebrate. All my writing derives in some form or fashion from these three childhood influences." Roopa Pai
